Teaches: Hip Hop
Rob is heavily involved in the ACT’s Street Dance and Hip Hop scene. Having started dance at CDS in 2007, Rob has also gone on to learn foundational street dance styles at Project Beats since 2015. Rob has represented Australia at the World Hip Hop Championships in 2018 and 2019 with his crew: Project One, and has competed in multiple street dance battles including Canberra Street Dance Festival 2021, in which his crew placed 1st. Rob has done many hip hop/street dance and commercial gigs, and is committed to sharing Hip Hop with others to help grow the Canberra Street Dance Community.

It’s challenging to keep finding new ways of being creative whilst still staying true to the foundation of your style. It’s easy to get into ruts, but that’s when you get the chance to create something new!
WHAT HAS DANCE TAUGHT YOU ABOUT LIFE?
Dance has taught me to be creative, yet disciplined and to work really hard at what you do. It’s also taught me not to take anything for granted and to keep dancing while you can.
